DHAKA: The live concert of Indian Singer Arijit Singh started at Jamuna Future Park in city on Friday night.

The singer arrived on stage at 8:40pm to perform in “Olitalia Arijit Singh Live”.

Concert’s organizer E-maker’s managing director Nayem Ashraf Roman told banglanews that the singer arrived in Dhaka on Friday morning.

Earlier, Arijit postponed the concert programme, scheduled to be held on December 5, due to his eye infection. However, he promised that he will rock the stage on December 12.

Arijit, one of the most popular contemporary singers in India, is famed for playback singing in Bollywood blockbuster movies ‘Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani’ and ‘Aashiqui 2’ along ‘Yaariyan’, ‘Players’ and ‘Murder 2’ movies. 

This is Arijit’s second live performance in Dhaka. Earlier, he enthralled audience in a live program in the city’s posh hotel on March 21 this year.
