DHAKA: ‘Shokoli Shokol’, a poetry book by Tanim Kabir, was launched at Amar Ekushey Book Fair on Bangla Academy premises.

Banglanews24.com consultant editor Jewel Mazhar and head of news Mahmood Menon Khan jointly unveiled the book’s cover Saturday afternoon.

Dedicated to Banglanews24.com editor-in-chief Alamgir Hossain, ‘Shokoli Shokol’ is Tanim’s second book, cover designed by Kheya Mezbah.

The speakers at the launching ceremony commented that the poet has introduced a new trend in writing poetry.

However, Tanim’s previous book ‘Oi Orthe’ earned critical acclaim from the readers.

Kajol Shahnewaz, Amitabh Paul, Shoaib Jibran, Ali Afzal Khan, Reza Ghatak, Nairit Imu, Shatabdi Bhaba, Bijoy Ahmed, Padma Chitkar, among others, were present at the ceremony.

Moreover, Tanim’s books are available at Shuddhashar’s stall on fair premises.
