DHAKA: The 45th birth anniversary of late Bangladeshi cinema superstar Salman Shah is set to be celebrated on September 29.

Salman Shah Memorial Committee has chalked out scores of programs, including daylong discussion and cultural events, to mark the day.

Confirming the matter, SM Shafi, president of the committee, said two separate stages will be set up on Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) premises for the programs.

He also said that film stars along with TV and music personalities will participate in the program here.

Sources said some of Salman Shah’s co-artistes will be given special awards.

To run the program flawlessly, a committee has been formed with noted persons from film industry, as well as theater, television and entertainment journalists.
