DHAKA: Noted musician Prince Mahmud is a familiar name for band and modern Bengali songs. The music maestro usually doesn’t work for playback in films.

However, recently, Prince Mahmud tuned a playback song titled ‘Firbo na Ar Ghore’ where popular folk artist Momtaz lent her voice. Kolkata actor Parambrata Chatterjee and Ashna Habib Bhabna will be seen on the screen with the song in Animesh Aich’s new film ‘Voyngkor Sundor’.

‘I think audience will take the song gradually’, Prince Mahmud told Banglanews regarding the song.

Lyric for the song has been penned by popular lyricist Asif Iqbal.

Recently, video of the song has been released in the YouTube channel of G-Series. 

Already the song has created a stir among the audience where Momtaz will be discovered out of her regular folk genre.
