Veteran Bangla film actor ‘Nayak Raj’ Razzak will be honored with a lifetime achievement award in ‘Tele Cine Awards’ of Kolkata, early next month.

Authorities of Tele Cine Awards earlier confirmed the matter to the actor family, said Razzak’s son Samrat on Friday (May 26).

Samrat said, “My father is going to be awarded for the first time in Kolkata. The award-giving program is supposed to be held on June 7. We will leave for Kolkata on June 4, to attend the ceremony.” 

Apart from Dhallywood, Razzak has remarkable contribution in Kolkata filmdom. 

Due to old-age complications, the actor is now almost absent from acting. 

His fans in Kolkata have been missed him in Tolly-screen for almost last 10-15 years.  

However, some other Bangladeshi celebrities including Shakib Khan, Nusrat Faria, Ayb Bacchu, Habib Wahid and Kona will also be awarded in the 16th session of Tele Cine awards this time.

‘Tele Cine Awards’ is an awards show on Bengali cinema, television serials and songs organized by The Tele Cine Society, a non-profit organization in West Bengal.
