DHAKA: Model-turned-actor Nirab Hossain and Sohana Saba will be seen pairing in an action-thriller film titled ‘Abbas’, directed by Saif Chandan.

The plot revolves around the story of reaching manhood and other strugglesome happenings in life of Abbas, the key role played by Nirab.

At one stage, Abbas experiences love getting entangled in affinity with ‘O2‘, name of the character played by Saba.

Here, the name ‘O2’ or Oxygen itself suggests that how inevitable it gradually becomes for Abbas to stay closer with his amoretti.

However, shooting for the film will be kicked off in old parts of Dhaka, Chandpur, Maldives and Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, some of the shots have been taken in Dhaka.     

Dhallywood audiences earlier haven’t seen Nirab-Saba pair in the silver screen.

In terms of commencing that very ‘pair debutant’, the duo expressed ecstasy.   

“Getting obsessed with the character of Abbas over some days, to figure out a live impression. This film will be a remarkable one in my career. Having Saba as the co artist makes me feel better”, said Nirab.

“As a pair, we are earnestly trying to deliver something good. We believe that the story and songs of the film will touch the viewers”, added the actor.    

Besides, Sohana Saba said that ‘Abbas’ marks her maiden work into the commercial spicy films.

Earlier, she wrote at her Facebook in a bit fun-tone: “After hesitating long over the time, finally I’m stepping into a commercial film.”

Saba said that she was well-prepared to begin the work and is enjoying the shooting now.

However, Jashim Uddin wrote the screenplay for ‘Abbas’.

The film is being produced under the banner of Live Technologies Ltd.
