DHAKA: Jessia Islam, the Bangladesh contestant in Miss World 2017 Beauty pageant, has taken herself among the top 40 participants. 

The 40 girls were selected through the ‘Head to Head Challenge’ round, in the grandiose competition in China recently.

She toppled the competitors down from Brazil, South Africa, Canada, Ethiopia and Botswana in the group-six of ‘Head-to-Head Challenge’. 

Jessia earned highest votes in online, to beat the representatives from the five countries. 

The 18-year-old glamour girl is now waiting to face the tight race in grand finale.

Meanwhile, she thanked themselves who voted her in online and uplifted her to the Final-40.  

However, the crown holder will be announced at the Sanya City Arena on November 18.
