DHAKA: Haldaa, a film directed by actor-director Tauquir Ahmed, is all set to release on the first day of December. 

On the eve of releasing in theatres, the film will be screened at Star Cineplex of Bashundhara City in Dhaka’s Panthapath, in the première show Thursday (November 30). 

“The première of ‘Haldaa’ will be held at 6:00pm. All the invitees including the casts & crews will attend the show”, Tauquir told Banglanews Tuesday (November 28). 

“I always support arranging the première show for the movies. Apart from publicity, it makes an occasion of coalescence for the artists, media friends and journalists; which bolsters progress for the movies too”, he added.

Meanwhile, the trailer and songs of ‘Haldaa’ earned a good response on internet.

Azad Bulbul has written the story of ‘Haldaa’ whereas the screenplay is from Tauquir himself. Pintu Ghosh has directed the music.

Jahid Hasan, Mosharraf Karim, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, and Fazlur Rahman Babu are among the major characters.

The fifth film directed by Tauquir, ‘Haldaa’ named after Halda river, portrays the life courses and crisis of the riverine people and the river itself.
