DHAKA: Ending a stretched drama and floating rumors, Dhallywood film star Shakib Khan finally divorced Apu Biswas, who got married in secret back in 2008.

Shakib’s family sources said he sent the divorce letter to Apu Biswas through a senior lawyer on Monday (Dec 4).

The couple's relationship started to decline after their marriage became public and the rumors of their divorce was floating around the film industry for the past few months.

However, no official declaration was made by any sides yet. 

The couple’s relationship were in a downward spiral after their marriage became public, when Apu and their six month old son, Abraham Khan Joy, came in front of the public for a talk show on a private TV channel on April 10, 2017.

During the show, Apu revealed her marriage with Shakib and their child together, which the actors had kept a secret and continued working in the industry.
