DHAKA: The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have trained more than 30,000 Hezbollah fighters in training camps in Iran and Lebanon.

Saudi newspaper Al Watan reported on Wednesday, reports The Jerusalem Post.

The Hezbollah fighters have undergone ‘intensive training’ since the 80s in the use of advance weapons.

Al Watan quotes a source in the Lebanese government as saying the Revolutionary Guards set up military barracks in Lebanon under the pretext of fighting against Israel.

According to the report, training starts in the ‘Sheikh Abdullah barracks’ in Baalbeck and concludes in Iran, where the fighter is trained in guerrilla warfare, as well as use of sophisticated weapons.
