DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Shakib Al Hasan, world top test all-rounder, at Apollo Hospital in city on Sunday morning.

The premier reached at the hospital at 11:20 am and stayed beside him for 10 minutes and inquired about his health condition.

Meanwhile, the primer wished quick recovery of Shakib.

Centering the Prime Minister’s visit, security measures have been beefed up in the area of Apollo Hospital.

Earlier, No-1 test all-rounder Shakib was withdrawn from the first ODI against New Zealand as he has been suffering from fever since Monday afternoon and he was admitted to Apollo Hospital.
