BHOLA: Two persons were electrocuted to death at Jinnagar village of Jinnagar union under Char Fashion Upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Khorshed, 45, son of Amir Ali and Alauddin, 43, son of Wali Ullah.

Locals said that Khorshed fell into a pond by breaking a branch of the tree along with a live electric wire that electrified the water, leaving him injured from electrocution.

Later, Alauddin was also electrocuted while trying to rescue Khorshed, leaving both of them critically injured.

Later, they were rushed to Char Fashion Hospital where doctor declared them dead.

Char Fashion police station Officer-in-Charge Abul Bashar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
