BRAHMANBARIA: Rail communications on Dhaka-Chittagong, Dhaka-Sylhet and Chittagong-Sylhet routes resumed after a 2-hour halt for faulty rail track on Monday morning.
Some nuts and bolts of rail track had been loosen in Chinayr area of the district that halted rail communications on the three routes at around 7:30am.
Sources said that a Chittagong-bound container train from Dhaka remained stranded at Brahmanbaria station.
Later, the rail services on the routes resumed at around 9:30am after repairing the rail track.
Akhaura rail-junction high official Deputy Assistant Engineer RA Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
