Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather with a partly cloudy sky over the country for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am today (October 18).

According to the Met office bulletin, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.7 degree celsius at Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was recorded 20.1 degree celsius at Tetulia, it also said.

The country's maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 07 millimeters (mm) at Dhaka.

Trough of low lies over North Bay. A low pressure area is likely to form over central part of the Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours.

Today's sunset at Dhaka at 05-30 PM and sunrise tomorrow will be at 05-58 AM.
