Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours commencing from 9am today (October 19).

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda while the minimum temperature today was recorded 20.0 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

Trough of low lies over North Bay. A low pressure area is likely to form over central Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours.
