Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today (October 19) urged for holding dialogue in resolving issues among the OIC neighbouring countries.

She made the plea while meeting with the Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Essa Yousef Essa Alduhailan who paid a courtesy call on her at her official residence Ganabhaban.

Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed the reporters after the meeting.

According to Karim, the premier also reiterated her call for unity among the Muslim Ummah on the ongoing Palestine issue.

The press secretary said the Saudi ambassador handed over a letter to the premier, inviting her to participate in "OIC conference on Women in Islam" to be held on November 6-8 in Jeddah.

At the meeting, Sheikh Hasina informed the ambassador that Bangladesh is going to organise "Imam Conference", and she invited Imams from the two Holy Mosques for attending that conference.

The prime minister also told Alduhailan that Bangladesh has already introduced currency swap with India and wanted to do so with the other countries.
