BARAIGRAM, NATORE: A mini truck driver was killed in a road accident in Agran area under Baraigram upazila early Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Shafiqul Islam, 25, son of Anwar Hossain hailed from Jangle Bazar village of Jessore sadar.

Banpara highway Thana Sub-Inspector Zohir Ahmed told banglanews that a Dhaka bound mini truck knocked a parked truck from behind as the driver lost control over the steering due to poor visibility for dense fog at around 5am, leaving mini truck driver dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and seized the mini truck.
