Police recovered throat-slit body of a couple and their 15-year-old daughter in their flat in Sirajganj's Tarash upazila.

The incident happened on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Bikash Sarker, 45, his wife Jhorna Rani Sarker, 40, and daughter Tushi, a student of class X.

According to relatives, the mobile phones of the deceased have been switched off for two days. They informed the matter to police after seeing their flat locked.

Tarash Police Station OC Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter.

He said being informed, a police team went to the spot and recovered the bodies, breaking the lock.

“The Reason behind the murder could not be known immediately. Our team is investigating the matter,” the OC added.
