Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered one Kilogram (KG) of crystal meth also known as ice worth about Tk 5 crore from Kutibari border area of Satkhira in Khulna early today (January 31).

Acting on a tip-off, a BGB patrol team challenged a passerby in the area around 1.00 am. The man however, ran away sensing BGB’s presence leaving a bag containing the crystal meth (ice) behind, a BGB press release said.

A case under the Narcotics Control Act has been filed in this regard with Kolaroa Thana, the release added.
