The metro rail service from Uttara North to Motijheel was temporarily halted today (February 4) due to problem in the signaling system.

Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan, Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Line-1) Deputy Project Director (Mass Communication) confirmed the matter.

“The entire Metrorail service has been suspended this afternoon for the last 20 to 25 minutes due to a problem in the signaling system. Metrorail service will resume as soon as the problem of the line is resolved,” he said.
