Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (February 5) predicted that rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

According to the met office latest bulletin, weather may remain mainly dry, with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins of the country, and light to moderate fog elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.

Night temperature may rise by 1-2 degree Celsius, and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 29.2 degree Celsius at Mongla while today's minimum temperature 10.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Sayedpur.

The sun sets at 5:47 pm today and rises at 6: 37 am tomorrow in the capital.
