Two Rohingya children were killed after hit by a bus while crossing the Teknaf road in Cox's Bazar.

The incident occurred at Teknaf's Leda area around 9:00 am on Friday (February 9).

The identities of the deceased are Mohammad Ismail, 8, son of Saleh Ahmed of block D-26 of Rohingya camp number 25 Alikhali of Teknaf upazila and Mohammad Hasan, 5, son of Mohammad Rafiq of the same area.

Shahpari Highway Police Inspector Md. Abdul Qayyum confirmed the matter to Banglaews.

Two children died on the spot due to the high speed of the bus. Efforts are on to identify them. The bus has been seized, the official added.
