Unexploded rocket launchers found again in Bandarban

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have recovered another unexploded rocket launchers, reportedly fired from Myanmar, along the Tumbru border in Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban.

Naikhongchhari police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Mannan confirmed the matter today (February 10).

The BGB members were on high alert in the border, he added.

The sound of heavy gunfire in Bandarban's Uttarpara and Teknaf’s Whykong union created panic among the locals on Saturday morning.

Earlier on Friday, a team of Bangladesh Army defused a mortar shell suspected to stray into Bangladesh territory from Myanmar along the Nayapara border of Ghumdhum under Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban.
