The Akheri Munajat of the second and final phase of Biswa Ijtema ended on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi, Gazipur today (Feb 11).

The Akheri Munajat started around 11:17 am.

People from around the country came to take part in the prayer. Not getting a place in the Ijtema field, many of them have been staying on the road since night.

Ijtema Media Coordinator Habibullah Raihan said, according to the decision of Ijtema's leading teachers, the prayer is being led by Imam and Khatib Maulana Zubair of Kakrail Mosque in Bangladesh.
