The High Court (HC) on Tuesday (Feb 13) ordered that Eriko Nakano will get the custody of the first and youngest daughters, while Bangladesh-born US citizen Imran Sharif will get the custody of their second child. 

Justice Mamnoon Rahman handed down the decision today.

According to the order, Eriko can live in Bangladesh or any other country, including Japan, with her eldest and youngest daughters. 

Meanwhile, the second daughter will stay with her father. Both parents can visit all their children. 

Earlier, a Dhaka court ruled that the two daughters, who were in Bangladesh, would stay with their Japanese mother. 

Later, Imran Sharif filed a revision petition in the High Court against the verdict.

Eriko Nakano married Bangladesh-born US citizen Imran Sharif in 2008 in Japan.
