Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Sunday (Feb 25) said the final judgment of Pilkhana carnage case will be delivered shortly.

He made this remark while talking to journalists after placing floral wreaths for the martyrs at the Banani graveyard in the capital. 

The minister also said the Pilkhana incident was undoubtedly a major issue for Bangladesh. The investigation has concluded, and final judgment will be handed down soon.

“I hope soon the people of Bangladesh will see the judgment,” he said.

In response to a question regarding negligence in completing the trial, Kamal said, “There was no negligence. As I have already said there was big carnage. All were large legal proceedings after proper investigation, so it took time.”
