Rail communication between Dhaka-Tangail was suspended today (Feb 29) due to a commuter train’s locomotive failure.
Ali Akbar, in-charge of Gharinda railway police in Tangail confirmed the matter.
He said the incident took place at Sonalia village in Basail upazila around 7:30am on Thursday.
After the incident, efforts are being made to fix the engine of the train, he added.
