Rail communication between Dhaka-Tangail returned to normal after four hour of a commuter train’s locomotive failure this morning (Feb 29).

The engine of a commuter train that broke down in Karotiya area of Tangail was taken to Tangail station. As a result, train movement resumed.

Tangail commuter train driver Mamunur Rashid confirmed the matter.

Earlier, rail communication between Dhaka-Tangail was halted around 7:30am after a commuter train’s locomotive failed at Sonalia village in Basail upazila.
