Detective Branch (DB) of Gaibandha district has arrested three people with arms and bullets.

They were arrested on Friday (March 15) morning from village Sarkarpara under Sadar upazila in the district.

The arrested were Asaduzzaman Hiru, 55, son of late Noor Nabi Mia of village Uttar Sarkarpara of No. 10 Ghagoa union, Khoka Mia, 60, son of late Kasimuddin of the same area and Mozammel, 52, son of late Asmat Mia of Dariapur village.

Superintendent of Police Kamal Hossain confirmed the matter.

He said police launched a raid into an under-construction building acting on a tip-off and arrested three persons with arms and bullets. 

There are several cases pending against them for committing various crimes, he added.
