A fire broke out at PRAN-RFL Habiganj Industrial Park on Wednesday (April 10).

The incident happened at the park's 13 no building chips factory in the Alipur area of Shayestaganj upazila around 1:30pm. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shaistaganj Police Station Mobarak Hossain confirmed the matter. 

He said six units from Habiganj, Shaistaganj and Madhabpur stations are working to control the fire. 

The fire is currently under control, he said.

However, he could not give details of the probable damage or casualties. 

The cause of the fire will be investigated, he added.
