Four people were killed and 10 others injured after a collision between a microbus and a pickup van in Narsingdi's Madhabdi on Wednesday night.

According to police, around 11:30pm a passenger-carrying microbus which was heading towards Brahmanbari to enjoy Eid, collided with a pickup van in Madhabdi's Tatapara area under Sadar upazila.

Then the micro got twisted, leaving four of its passengers dead on the spot.

Meanwhile, the injured were first taken to Sadar Hospital. Later, critically injured eight were shifted to Dhaka Medical.

Narsingdi Sadar Police Station OC Md Tanvir Ahmed confirming the matter said the bodies were taken to Sadar Hospital morgue.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, he said.
