Hazaribagh slum fire under control

A fire that broke out at a slum in Dhaka's Hazaribagh area around 11:50 am today was brought under control. 

Rozina Akter, duty officer of the Fire Service control room, confirmed the matter.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, she said.

On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 12:40 pm, Rozina Akter added.
