Three youths were killed and some others injured in two separate road accidents in Rajshahi in the last two days.

The deceased are - Shanta Hossain, 20, son of Shadhu Mian, Fahim Islam, 21, son of Akkash Ali of Koira village under Paba Upazila and Azizul Islam, 18, son of Akani Mollah of Bharua village under Belpukur Police Station.

Mobarak Parvez, Officer-in-Charge of Matiher Police Station confirmed the matter. 

He said Shanta and Fahim met a tragic road accident when their motorbike rammed into a road divider at Budhpara flyover around 3.30 pm on Thursday. 

Shanta succumbed to his injuries at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH), while Fahim in a private clinic yesterday evening.

Azizul Islam sustained injuries when a passenger's bus hit him in Kasiadanga area this noon. 

He was immediately rushed to RMCH where the attending doctors declared him dead after a few minutes of admission.

Two separate cases were recorded with the police stations.
