Two among three friends were killed and another was injured in a collision between a motorcycle and private car in Tangail’s Modhupur.

The critically injured was rushed to Mymensingh Medical College.

However, police could not identify the deceased and the injured identity yet. 

The accident happened on Saturday (April 13) afternoon in Kakraid area of the upazila.

Madhupur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Molla Azizur Rahman confirmed the matter. 

He said three friends were out for a ride on a motorcycle. At that time, a private car coming from the opposite direction rammed the motorcycle, leaving one dead on the spot.

Later, one died on the way to the hospital, he added.
