A Bandarban court has sent four more suspected members of the separatist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) to jail in connection with bank robbery, and looting of money and weapons.

Bandarban Chief Judicial Magistrate's court Judge ASM Emran issued the order after they had been produced before the court today (April 14).

The arrestees are Lal Raubat Bom Prakash Apple, 27, Lal Lam Khar Bom Prakash Alam, 31, Mithusel Bom Prakash Amang, 25, Lal Ruat Lian Bum, 38.

The suspected KNF members were arrested from the Lal Bridge area of the district. They were later sent to jail in the nine cases filed over the incidents of April 2-5 in Ruma and Thanchi upazilas

Bandarban court GRO Biswajit Singh confirmed the matter.

According to the police, 62 people, including the chief coordinator of the group, have so far been arrested by the joint forces.
