Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained three persons from a bomb-making factory in Dhaka's Badda area.

The identities of the detainees could not be known yet.

They also recovered 65 bombs from the place, said RAB-3 Commanding Officer Lt Col Md Firoz Kabir.

"Huge number of hand bombs were recovered from the factory and these could be detonated in the air. And each bomb could spread up to 30 metres," he said.

Mentioning that militants are involved in this incident, the RAB official said, "The arrested men mainly work in the 'cut out' method in exchange for money. They could not tell where the bombs were supposed to be used.
