Four people, including a child, were killed early Friday (September 6) morning when a bus collided with a microbus that had lost control over the steering in Chauddagram of Cumilla.
The accident occurred around 6am in the Batisha Nanakara area of the upazila. The identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed.
Mia Bazar Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rois Uddin confirmed the matter.
According to local sources, a pickup van was parked on the Dhaka-bound lane of the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Batisha Nanakara. Early in the morning, a microbus lost control and crashed into the back of the pickup van. At that moment, a Dhaka-bound Star Line bus hit the microbus, killing four people at the spot.
