Journalists Mozammel and Shyamal Dutta Haque Babu were detained in Dobaura border area under Mymensingh district. Local residents detained them on Sunday night while fleeing to India.
They are currently at the Dobaura Police Station in Mymensingh.
Along with them, Ekattor Television's senior reporter Mahbubur Rahman and driver Selim were also detained.
According to locals, Shyamal Dutta and Mozammel Babu were heading towards the border in a private car.
