TANGAIL: Two people were killed and 19 others injured in a head-on collision between two passenger buses in the Ashekpur area of Tangail bypass on Monday night.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Officer-in-Charge of Tangail Thana M Najrul Islam told banglanews that the head-on collision between two buses at the Ashekpur area of Tangail town bypass left one dead at the spot and 20 others injured.

Among the injured, one succumbed to his injuries at the Tangail General Hospital where the injured were admitted, he added.
