TANGAIL: A security personnel was killed in a road crash in Bangabandhu Bridge area in the district on Thursday evening.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Jabbar, 50, security personnel of Bangabandhu Bridge, son of late Sekandar Ali.

Sources said that after completing duty the victim was returning his home while a Dhaka-bound passenger bus rammed him, leaving him critically injured.

Later, on the way to hospital, he died.
