DHAKA: Sorties of return hajj flights will begin from Saturday night to carry back the pilgrims who just performed hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The first return flight of Bangladesh Biman, carrying pilgrims will land at around 05:15pm in Hazrat Shajalal International Airport on Saturday night.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Faruk Khan will receive the Hajj pilgrims at the airport.
Airport Immigration Police Senior ASP Monir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
On September 7, Biman started operating hajj flights and continued till October 8.
This year 1,589 pilgrims performed Hajj in government management and 87,590 pilgrims under private management.
