DHAKA: The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) imposed a ban on holding any kind of meeting, procession and rally in the capital for an indefinite period from Sunday morning to avert anarchy and confrontation.

The ban will start from 6:00am, a source of DMP said.

Joint Commissioner of police Monirul Islam, also spokesperson of the DMP confirmed the matter to banglanews.
