DHAKA: The Dhaka Cyber Crime Tribunal fixed November 10 for hearing on the case against the human rights organization Odhikar’s secretary Adilur Rahman Khan.
Justice KM Shamsul Alam on Monday fixed the date after hearing.
Meanwhile, Adilur Rahman said that ‘Odhikar’ didn’t give any fake information and their information was correct which would be proved in the court.
On October 08, Judge Borhanuddin and Judge KM Kamrul Qader passed a release order on bail and two days later Adilur got release from jail.
On September 4, Detective Branch of Police (DB) Inspector Ashraful Alam submitted a charge sheet with Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court.
Earlier on August 10, a cyber crime team of Detective Branch of Police of DMP held the former attorney General, also secretary of Odhikar Adilur Rahman, from his Gulshan residence for his alleged involvement in violation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act.
