6 more BD pilgrims die in Saudi

MECCA: Six more Bangladeshi pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia from Monday last week to this week Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Achhia Begum 62, passport number AF4282120, Abdul Malek Khandaker 63, passport number AF1940472, M Ali Bepari 85, passport number AF8962079, Abdur Razzak Matbar 72, passport number AF6932991, M Echhak Mia 53, passport number AF2485679 and Saleh Ahmed Bhuiyan 68, passport number AF5530639.

A total of 51 Bangladeshi pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia this year.

Sources said most of them died in road accidents, cardiac arrest and old age complexity.

Around 90,000 of Bangladeshi people performed the holy Hajj in Saudi Arabia this year.

Moreover, the return flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the pilgrims initiated and some 1413 pilgrims arrived here till October 20.
