DHAKA: Alhaj Mohammad Shamsul Alam, a prominent businessman, renowned social worker and sponsor Director of Standard Bank Limited, has been elected ‘Executive Committee (EC) Chairman’ of the Board of Directors of the bank.

Shamsul Alam was born in a noble Muslim family at Noapara of Rawzan Thana in Chittagong.

After completion of education he started his business career with utmost sincerity and honesty.

By virtue of his prudence, efficiency and honesty, he became successful in his venture and become the Proprietor of Radio Vision and also Director of different Bank, Insurance & Financial Institutions.

In addition to that he is actively involved with so many socio-cultural organizations, school, Madrasha & orphanage in his area.

He is the founder of an Old Home at Noapara at Rowzan in Chittagong and runs it by his own source.
