DINAJPUR: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League President is scheduled to visit the district on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources said a helicopter carrying the premier will land at Gora Shaheed Maidan in Dinajpur at around 1:30 pm.

Meanwhile, the premier will address a mass rally at around 2:15 pm in the area and also inaugurate 36 development projects here.

The rally venue is ready for the Prime Minister and the Special Security Force personnel have been deployed there.

Locals including leaders from different parts of the district are waiting for the premier with banners, placards, festoon, and posters to welcome her.

Sheikh Hasina is going to visit Dinajpur after five years while she visited the district in December 2008.
