DHAKA: Ruling Awami League will hold a press conference at its Dhanmondi office on Wednesday morning.

Party general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam will brief party’s stand regarding opposition BNP’s proposal at around 11.00pm.

Party’s deputy office secretary Mrinal Kanti Das confirmed the matter to banglanews.  

Earlier in the day, opposition BNP has sent a letter to Awami League with a brief explanation regarding Khaleda Zia’s proposed outline of the interim government for holding the next general elections.

Meanwhile, the ruling party is set to send letter to BNP over all-party interim government proposal in reply to the opposition party’s letter.
