TANGAIL: Three people were killed in a road accident near Charpara area on Dhaka-Tangail highway under Mirzapur upazila on Wednesday morning.

However, the identity of deceased couldn’t be known immediately.

Local sources said a Dhaka-bound Pajero jeep hit a roadside tree as its driver lost control over the steering on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Charpara area, leaving three people dead on the spot.

Mirzapur Gorai highway Thana Officer-in-Charge Jubayer confirmed the matter to banglanews.
