DHAKA: The government is likely to deploy Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel from Wednesday evening in a bid to avert any untoward situation ahead of October 25.

A competent source form the Home Affairs Ministry confirmed the matter to banglanews in the afternoon.

The sources said the decision of BGB deployment in the city and across the country would like to be taken any time on Wednesday.

The deployment would initiate immediate after decision by the ministry and BGB personnel have already been directed to be alert in this regard.
