KISHOREGANJ: President Abdul Hamid was accorded mass reception at a programme at his village home at Mithamain upazila in the district on Wednesday noon.

He was accorded a grand reception in a function held at Mithamain Thana ground.

President landed at the ground adjacent to Haji Taijuddin High School in the upazila at around 2:00pm.

Abdul Hamid inaugurated and laid foundation stone of 20 development works in the upazila, including Mithamain College and Mithamain auditorium.

President Abdul Hamid will hold night at his hereditary house.

People of all walks of life of the upazila, including children thronged the venue, to see the President at a glance.

This is the third visit of Abdul Hamid in his constituency after sworn in as President.

Abdul Hamid was elected for eight times as lawmaker from Kishoreganj-4 constituency.
